After starting his career in the Canadian defence sector in Calgary, Gregor Jeffrey worked in Vancouver’s emerging high-tech sector and California’s Silicon Valley. Returning to the defence industry as a consultant for the General Dynamics Corporation in Europe, he supported international teams on multi-billion dollar equipment programs for the UK Ministry of Defence.
In Paris, France he founded a consulting firm that helped specialized suppliers secure opportunities with European defence contractors. A specialist on military technology trends, Gregor supported international investors as a senior defence industry advisor with Standard & Poor’s. Following projects in Spain, Germany and England he returned to Calgary to lead the Department of National Defence Integrated Soldier System Project and negotiated Raytheon Canada’s first international teaming agreements with French and Israeli defence contractors.
Gregor’s experiences delivering high-profile proposals and presentations in the international defence sector led him to develop unique science-based training to help executives, leaders and employees of all levels excel at communicating in complex corporate environments. He is an executive lecturer at the Alberta School of Business and speaks at TEC Executive Forums and keynote events across North America.
Gregor lives in Calgary, Alberta. Outside of his work he is a passionate classic motorsports enthusiast.
